Get Direction

Most professors won't leave you in the dark on research assignments. Sometimes they discuss research requirements during lecture, or they hand out an assignment requirement sheet. Other times, professors will expect you to use your textbook for direction. Make sure you review the details of your assignment--however your professor has chosen to present it--before continuing. There's nothing more valuable in a research assignment than the assignment itself.
