Truncation
Truncation will
find the root word plus anything that comes after it. The symbol
used to truncate a word depends upon the database you are using.
Check the help screen of the database you are using to see which
symbol is used as the truncator. Most of the databases use an *
and the library catalog at Northampton Community College Libraries
uses a $ as the truncator.
